

Rules, Policies & Contractual Terms
Effective January 2026
1. Attendance Policy

A minimum attendance rate of 60% per month is required for all enrolled learners. Absences must be supported by a valid excuse (e.g. medical note, family emergency, or prior written notice).

Failure to meet the minimum attendance requirement without valid reason may result in: Academic review, and/or termination of enrolment at the academy’s discretion.

2. Payment Policy

Fees are due on the 1st of every month.

Payments not received by the due date will incur a 15% late payment fee.

Persistent late payments may result in: Suspension of services, and/or termination of enrolment.

3. Annual Fee Commitment
-
Once a learner is enrolled and has commenced attendance, fees are payable monthly from January to November for the full academic year.

Temporary absence, holidays, or missed sessions do not exempt parents/guardians from payment obligations, unless formal withdrawal procedures have been followed.

4. Withdrawal & Notice Policy
-
A minimum of one (1) calendar month’s written notice is required to withdraw a learner from AS Academy.

Notice must be submitted in writing (email or official communication channel).

Failure to give the required notice will result in fees being charged for the notice period.

5. Behaviour & Conduct Policy

Learners are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, peers, and academy property.

Vandalism, theft, or intentional damage to academy property will result in immediate expulsion, with no refund of fees.

Parents/guardians may be held financially responsible for damages caused by their child.

6. Safety & Discipline

AS Academy maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Physical violence
- Bullying or harassment
- Threatening or disruptive behaviour

Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension or expulsion, at the academy’s discretion.

7. Parent Communication & Cooperation

Parents/guardians are expected to maintain open and respectful communication with staff.

Concerns should be raised constructively and through official channels.

Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate communication toward staff may result in termination of the learner’s enrolment.

8. Changes to Policies
-
AS Academy reserves the right to amend rules, policies, and fees when necessary.

Parents will be notified of any significant changes in writing.
​
9. Acceptance of Terms
-
Continued attendance at AS Academy constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all rules, policies, and contractual terms.

These terms form part of the binding agreement between AS Academy and the parent/guardian.
